On a standard 53' lowboy we can move up to about 80,000 lb of cargo. For loads above that, we route to specialty lowboys (perimeter, dual-lane, beam) — usually for industrial equipment 100,000 lb+. Send the spec sheet and we'll match the trailer.
How long does heavy haul take?
Heavy-haul transit is slower than auto transport — typically 1 day per 300–400 miles because of permitted routing, daylight-only travel for some loads, and stricter HOS limits. Cross-country heavy haul is usually 7–14 days.
