Why show cars need a different shipper
A 100-point restoration doesn't survive a regular open trailer. Road grime, brake dust, and a single tie-down strap in the wrong spot can cost you a class win. Show cars need enclosed trailers with soft straps, lift-gate loading, and drivers who've handled six-figure cars before.
ShipCargo's enclosed network specializes in this work — most of our enclosed carriers run hard-sided trailers with lift gates, climate control, and cargo coverage to match the value of what's inside.
Show-field logistics
We coordinate with show organizers to deliver during the official load-in window — Pebble, Amelia, Greenwich, Goodwood, and Barrett-Jackson all have published windows we work to. We also handle return-haul after the event so you're not stuck arranging two separate shippers.
For local and regional shows, we can stage the car at a nearby detailer the night before for final prep, then deliver in the morning.
Auction transport
Same-day-of-sale pickup at Barrett-Jackson, Mecum, Gooding, RM Sotheby's. Either consignor-side (your car going in) or buyer-side (your car coming out). Most auctions have dedicated transporter lanes we use.
