Why dealers ship more units now
More buyers complete the purchase online and never set foot in the store. The delivery moment is the only physical touchpoint — and that's the one most legacy brokers fumble. A dirty trailer, a no-show driver, or a vague ETA undoes weeks of CRM nurturing.
ShipCargo treats delivery as a marketing surface: clean equipment, a customer-facing tracking link branded for your store, and a delivery window the customer can plan their day around.
How the dealer-to-customer flow works
Submit the deal (VIN, customer address, sold date) through our dealer portal or by email. We dispatch within 24 hours of paperwork clearing. Customer gets a tracking link with carrier name, driver name, and live ETA — same level of detail you'd expect from a high-end logistics brand.
On delivery, the driver completes a walkaround with the customer, both parties sign the BOL, and your card is charged. Damage claims (if any) get filed before the carrier leaves.
Enclosed for premium units
For exotics, EVs over $80k, freshly-detailed pre-owned, or any unit where a single rock chip turns into a chargeback, enclosed transport is worth the premium. We can mix open and enclosed in the same week — no minimum commitment.
